Hot Mama Revolution: Make-Up Review and Drawing

Ever since seeing the magical Almay commercials for their new Smart Shade makeup and Smart Shade Blush, I knew I had to try it.

I have never been one to do foundation. I'm just too afraid of the dreaded "yin-yang" affect of the jawline.

I've always loved a good tinted moisturizer, but it can still get tricky when you try to find the right shade for you or one with enough color to even make any difference at all.

So I spent $26 dollars, yes... $26, at CVS tonight just to let you all know whether or not it is worth a try (or two water bill payments) or if you should just keep on truckin' without it in your make-up bag.

The verdict: I love it! It is so cool how it gets darker the longer you rub it in! And yet it remains translucent enough that you can't tell you have anything on. My face feels moisturized without even a hint of greasiness. And the blush (I got the natural shade) is a breath of fresh air compared to the glimmery crap I've been stuck with for so long. Thank you, Almay, for realizing not everyone wants sparkles in their blush!

And get this! I love it so much I'm willing to go get you some and send it right to your mailbox! Not all of you of course, because I have children to feed and bills to pay and yada yada yada...
