Hot Mama Revolution:I Feel Pretty!

OK, my inspiration for this week's post came from the "God forsaken, soaking wet armpit inducing, completely unbearable unless your inside with the air conditioning blasting while holding a cold glass of wine in your hand" heat that was this weekend.

We were invited to an outdoor birthday party yesterday and for a brief moment I considered going in the nude. Hey, it'd be like a second birthday gift for Grandma! Who doesn't want to see saggy milk bags and stretchmarks at their birthday party? Heck, think of them as a couple of balloons and some crumpled up crepe paper to further adorn the festivities!

Anyway, after I nixed the sans-clothes idea, I decided on a skirt. It was perfect. Well, I did have to keep a hand on it to keep it from blowing up over my head and it didn't make for the easiest time playing on the playground with the kiddos, but dang if I didn't feel like a woman!!

So my tip this week is wear a skirt....or a pretty headband, or some sexy undergarments under your sweats, or lipstick for the first time in 15 years....Whatever it is, just wear something that makes you feel more feminine and more like a "Hot Mama"!

Now it's your turn! What'cha got for me??

I'm with the skirts-idea. Have been wearing nothing but this summer (except shirts on top, duh!).
People, family ask me during the day, "Why are you so dressed up?" Huh I ask, "Well you're wearing a skirt!" My reply, "I just feel more comfortable!"

I always wear cleavage-showing stuff. Gotta keep the cleavage cool. ;)

I splurged on a killer red lipstick from Sephora, NARS Shanghai Express. It was more than I'd ever spent on a lipstick in my LIFE, but, dang, does it make me feel fierce! LOL!
